Do You Know Where You're Spending Eternity?

          God says that all of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Our sins condemn us to hell (Romans 6:23). Sin cannot be erased by good deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9).

          The good news is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth in the flesh. He lived a perfect, sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21). Paying the price for our sins, Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead three days later (1 Peter 3:18). Everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life (1 John 5:11-13). And life that is eternal cannot be lost.

          Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." If you feel God calling you to become a part of the kingdom of God, then all it takes is for you to confess with your mouth (out loud) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. We would encourage you to share this decision with someone else, maybe a Christian friend or a church leader. Also you must believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
